Mountain Biking Area Located 10 miles north of Bottineau, the Turtle Mountain National Forest offers some great mountain bike riding. The trails here are made up of old 2-wheel trails and old snowmobile trails. Sections here are being redone to make it more suitable for mountain bike riding. Conditions here, like most places, varies widely with the amount of rain and snow fall. Wildlife can be seen from the trails along this bike route. Ride through fields, thickets and wide open prairies and enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer.
