North Dakota Snowmobile Trails



A system of 16 snowmobile trails across the state is operated by Snowmobile North Dakota, the North Dakota Parks and Recreation, and local Snowmobiling clubs. Offering over 3,500 miles of trails of great snowmobiling, North Dakota is a snowmobiling paradise. Opening December 1st and running through April 1st, this is providing there is a minimum 4 inches of snow.

Out of state snowmobiling enthusiasts don't forget you have to acquire an out-of state permit to operate on all public right of ways, lands, and trail systems.
